Spiritual preparation for Kallah:
Recite entire Tehilim on day of Chasunah.
Study all the laws needed for marriage
Instruction for Choson:
Wear a kitel underneath an over garment.
On Yom Kippur first year after Chasunah - No kittel
During kidushin - not to have any objects in your pockets; such as gold silver 0r coins
No knots. Untie the tie and shoelaces
The above is in addition to all other customs prevalent in the community.
In mincha prayer - add the “al cheit”.
