Shalom u'Vrachah!

Your pidyon nefesh was received, and I read it on the eve of Yom Kippur at the Ohel, and afterwards in the chamber of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, where people enter to give pidyonos and for yechidus. And "the righteous one who has passed on is found in this world even more than during his lifetime," so he surely gave his blessing, and may Hashem fulfill his blessing both materially and spiritually.

Surely you will increase your strength in diligence in your studies and also keep the daily lessons in Chumash, Tehillim, Tanya that my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m established and which are printed in "Moreh Shiur." May it be G‑d's will that you grow to be G‑d-fearing, a chassid, and a scholar; and that the head of your institution—my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m—will be able to say with satisfaction: "See the students I have raised."
