Your letter from 2 Teves was received, and I had already been concerned about your long silence, which is unusual for you, even though you still do not explain the reason for this lengthy pause in your correspondence.

I was pleased to read that you received all the kuntreisim and the letters attached to them, and that you publicized them appropriately. I am also glad that on Yud-Tes Kislev and on the fifth night of Chanukah you organized a farbrengen for Anash and included those who are not yet part of Anash. Certainly, you will continue with strength in this work, and the promise of the Holy One, blessed be He, will be fulfilled as our Sages say: 'Pischu li pesach kechudo shel machat va'Ani eftach lachem kepitcho shel ulam...' (Open for Me an opening like the eye of a needle, and I will open for you an opening like a grand hall...).

And last but not least, I confirm receipt of five packages of booklets containing discourses of Chassidus. Thank you very much for what has been sent so far, and I strongly request that you continue to send such material in the future. Certainly there are many old booklets with discourses of Chassidus in Jerusalem, the holy city—may it be rebuilt and established—some of which have not yet been published. In addition to all their other qualities, there is hope that these will benefit many people as sometimes these booklets contain ancient teachings from our Rebbeim—leaders of Chabad—that have never been published before. I hope that over time we will publish them properly, and the merit of benefiting the public depends on this—to draw down blessing and success in all your needs for yourself and your family.

I especially urge regarding those booklets left by Haraha"ch etc. etc. Harach"a Bikovsky; only a few are currently in my possession, but certainly there are many more.

I can also gladden you by sharing that the booklet 'Pelech HaRimon' on Shemos which you sent last year to my father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe hk"m, was given to me last winter with his comment that it is worthwhile to print it. I am now preparing it for publication.

At that time I informed my father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe hk"m, that some chassidim were upset with me about my suggestion to print this 'Pelech HaRimon,' saying we should only publish teachings from our Rebbeim—leaders of Chabad—but my father-in-law dismissed their objections and instructed me to print this book.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches us to persist in spreading Chassidus and making unpublished manuscripts available for communal benefit. Even when faced with objections or hesitation from others, one should follow guidance from our leaders to bring more light into the world through Torah dissemination.
