In response to your letter from the 26th of Kislev (a) in which you inform me that you are a teacher of students in a higher class at a Talmud Torah and that you wanted to leave this work to become a student at the holy Yeshiva "Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch," but the principal, Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a who is involved in communal needs with faith etc., the Ram ^[1], prevented you from doing so. You did well by continuing in the field of education to teach the Torah of Hashem, blessed and exalted be He. As you wrote that several times a week you visit our holy Yeshiva and hear words of Chassidus, according to the saying of our Sages (Temurah 15a), your teaching will bring benefit to your own understanding and quicker grasp in your own studies. Additionally, as a teacher you merit a ray of light to draw the hearts of Jewish children closer to their Father in Heaven. What can compare or equal the great pleasure this causes Above.

(b) You also write that for three years you have sometimes felt pain and according to your words the doctors you visited have not found a cure. In my opinion, you should visit a specialist for internal organs and a specialist for nerves (nerves), and try to have them consult with each other and give you guidance on conduct. Observing the three lessons established by my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal—namely: reciting Tehillim every day as divided by days of the month; Chumash with Rashi (on Sunday from the weekly portion until Monday's section, on Monday from Monday's section until Tuesday's section, etc.); and studying Tanya as divided by days of the year—these are broad vessels to draw down blessing for a speedy recovery.

(c) You also ask whether to consider a shidduch with your brother's daughter; generally it is worthwhile to look into other suggestions as well, and afterwards compare them with the proposal regarding your brother's daughter. May G‑d guide you on the straight path so that you choose your match at an auspicious and successful time. Say every day Tehillim chapter 71 and continue until the upcoming 12th of Tammuz.

I am interested to know what is the curriculum studied at your Talmud Torah, how many students are in your class, and whether they study laws and matters of fear of Heaven with them.
