במענה על מכתבו ששואל אם יקנה עסק בשותפות עם עוד אחד שאינו שומר שבת, באופן אשר גם העסק לא יהי' בשמירת שבת, אלא שיהי' על חלקו של השני.
הנה בטח יודע כי ממון הקשור עם חלול שבת הנה ר"ל לא רק הם הולכים לטמין, אלא גם גוררים ממון אחר, א"כ מה לו ולמסחרים כאלה הקרובים מאד מאד להפסד ורחוקים משכר?!
והשי"ת הזן ומפרנס לכל, בטח ימציא לו פרנסתו בריוח באופן כשר ובאופן שיוכל להשתמש בפרנסתו אף געזונטע זאכן און אידישע זאכן.
אשמח לשמוע שקבע שיעורי תורה בחבורה, ובטח ישמחני בהודעה מהגדלת מספר המשתתפים בהלימודים ושיקבעו ג"כ שיעור לימוד בתורת החסידות.
בברכה ופ"ש המשתתפים בהשיעורים יחיו.

In response to your letter asking whether you should buy a business in partnership with another who does not observe Shabbat, in a manner where the business itself will not be Shabbat-observant but that will be on the other partner's share. Surely you know that money connected with Chilul Shabbat (Shabbat desecration), G‑d forbid, not only is itself lost but also drags down other money. So why involve yourself in such businesses that are extremely prone to loss and far from profit?! And the Holy One, blessed be He, Who nourishes and sustains all, will surely provide you with ample livelihood in a kosher way and so you can use your earnings for healthy things and Jewish matters.
I would be happy to hear that you have established group Torah study sessions, and I will certainly be glad to hear news of an increase in participants and that a class is also set for studying Chassidus.
With blessing and regards from those participating in the classes may they live.
Enclosed is the Lag BaOmer talk of this year; surely you will merit to benefit the many with it.
