צום נייען יאר הבא עלינו ועל כל בני ובנות ישראל לטובה ולברכה, שיק איך אייך מיין ברכה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
אונזערע חכמים זכרונם לברכה זאגן, אז א נאמען האט א וויכטיקע אינערליכע באדייטונג. דער נאמען "נוסח אר"י", אדער "צמח צדק", אדער "ליובאוויטש" אד"ג וואס א שול טראגט, האט א גרויסע פנימיות'דיקע באדייטונג און אויפגאבע.
אייערע זיידעס און עלטער זיידעס האבן זיך מוסר נפש געווען אויף צו האלטן הויך און טייער דעם חסידישן נאמען, וואס זיי האבן געטראגן מיט גרויס אחריות און שטאלץ. איר, זייערע קינדער און אייניקלעך, וועט זיכער אויך וויסן ווי אפצושאצן די גרויסע אחריות וואס ליגט אויף אייך, צו היטן און פאראייביקן די גרויסע מסורת אבות און ירושה וואס זיי האבן איבערגעלאזן אין אייערע הענט.
דעריבער ווענד איך זיך צו אייך אין די דאזיקע טעג פון גייסטיקער אויפלעבונג און אויפוואכונג: באפעסטיקט די יסודות פון אייער שול, סיי אין כמות - צו פארגרעסערן די צאל חברים און מתפללים, ספעציעל צווישן דער יוגנט; סיי אין רוחניות - דורך שיעורים אין לערנען תורה און חסידות: חומש, משניות, גמרא, עין יעקב, שלחן ערוך, תניא, מאמרים, וכו', מיט א חסידישן פארברענגען פון צייט צו צייט, אזוי אז אייער שול זאל זיין לעבעדיק, ווארים און ליכטיק.
זיכער וועט איר ניט דורכלאזן די גוטע און פאסנדע צייט פון די קומענדיקע הייליקע טעג צו שאפן אן אויפלעבונג אין אייער שול אין די אויבנדערמאנטע זאכן. איך האף, אז איר וועט פאררופן, אויב נויטיק, א ספעציעלען מיטינג דורכצופירן עס בפועל ממש, און דער אויבערשטער וועט אייך זיכער מצליח זיין. עס וועט מיר פרייען צו הערן גוטע בשורות וועגן דעם. און לויט דעם ווארט פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע:

Shalom u'Vrachah!
For the coming new year that is approaching us and all the sons and daughters of Israel for good and blessing, I send you my blessing for a good and sweet year in both material and spiritual matters.
Our Sages of blessed memory say that a name has an important inner meaning. The name "Nusach Ari," or "Tzemach Tzedek," or "Lubavitch," etc., which a shul carries, has a profound inner significance and mission. Your grandfathers and great-grandfathers devoted themselves to upholding and cherishing this chassidic name that they bore with great responsibility and pride.
You, their children and grandchildren, will surely also know how to appreciate the great responsibility that rests upon you: to guard and perpetuate the great tradition of your ancestors and the inheritance they left in your hands.
Therefore I turn to you in these days of spiritual revival and awakening: strengthen the foundations of your shul—both quantitatively (to increase the number of members and worshippers, especially among the youth) and spiritually (through classes in Torah study and Chassidus: Chumash, Mishnayos, Gemara, Ein Yaakov, Shulchan Aruch, Tanya, maamarim, etc.), with a chassidic farbrengen from time to time so that your shul will be lively, warm, and bright.
You will certainly not miss the good and fitting opportunity of the upcoming holy days to create a revival in your shul in these aforementioned matters. I hope that you will call—if necessary—a special meeting to carry this out in actual practice. And the Alm-ghty will surely grant you success.
It will give me pleasure to hear good news about this. And according to the saying of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal: It is an established principle that earnest effort does not go unrewarded.

Summary
The Rebbe urges every member of our shuls to take personal responsibility for strengthening both participation and spiritual vitality—especially among youth—and to cherish our chassidic heritage through learning Torah together with warmth, pride, unity, and practical action.
