קבלתי מכתבו, בו שואל באשר רוצה להכניס בת שלש לגן ילדים, ויש הצעה להכניסה להגן ששם שפת הלימוד הוא באידיש ושואל חוו"ד.
הנה לדעתי נכון הדבר, כי העיקר במה שנוגע בחינוך הילדים והילדות בכלל ובפרט התחלת החינוך הוא הענין דיראת שמים ומכיון שהכל מודים שהחינוך דשם הוא טוב יותר מבאחרים במקצוע זה, אין להתחשב עם נמוקים אחרים, כי הכל בטל מפני העיקר.
בברכת הסתדרות מתאימה ופרנסה טובה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, ונחת אידישן חסידישן נחת מכל ילידי' שי' וכוח"ט לשנה טובה ומתוקה.

I received your letter in which you ask about wanting to enroll your three-year-old daughter in a kindergarten, and there is a suggestion to enroll her in a kindergarten where the language of instruction is Yiddish, and you ask my opinion.
In my view, this is correct, because the main thing regarding the education of children in general—and especially at the beginning of their education—is the matter of Yiras Shamayim (awe of Heaven). Since everyone agrees that the education there is better than others in this area, other considerations should not be taken into account, as everything else is secondary to this main point.
With blessings for proper adjustment and good livelihood both materially and spiritually together, and genuine Jewish Chassidic nachas from all your children. K'sivah v'chasimah tovah for a good and sweet year.
