In response to your letter from the second of Eikev and those before it: ... With great joy I inform you that at last, the initiative you inspired in 5705 has come to fruition—namely, that the maamarim of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil nishmaso b'gan eden zichro yagen aleinu (may his memory protect us), will be printed at the expense of those donors from then (and due to various reasons and obstacles this was delayed). The day before yesterday, on the eve of the 20th of Menachem Av, they brought from the bindery the first volume of these maamarim, which is the volume of Maamarim from summer 5709. "Chamra l'marei v'tivusa l'shakyei" (the wine belongs to its owner and thanks to its carrier)—it was you who inspired this idea which now has begun to materialize in actuality. When future volumes will be printed and bound I do not know because of many distractions and the magnitude of work. Nevertheless, my strong hope is that this will happen in the near future with G‑d's help.

The above-mentioned Sefer HaMaamarim has been sent to you in a separate package together with a booklet on communal activism. You will surely confirm their receipt.
