איך וויל אייך דערציילן א סיפור וואס איך האב געהערט פון מיין שווער כ"ק אדמו"ר, דעם צמח צדק'ס א חסיד האט געוואלט פארן אין ארץ ישראל האט אים דער צמח צדק געזאגט: ר' הלל'ן פעלט ניט ארץ ישראל, און דיר פעלט ארץ ישראל, מאך דא ארץ ישראל (פון דעם ספור זעהט מען אז דער צמח צדק האט אפילו אונטער די אויגן גערופן מיט א רבי ר' הלל'ן) איך האף אז איר וועט האבן בשורות טובות אין דעם וועט איר מיר שרייבן.

In response to your letter from the 17th of Menachem Av where you write that your father, may he live, is demanding from the children, may they live, to give him the opportunity to travel to Eretz Yisrael, and your mother, may she live, does not want to go along...
I want to tell you a story I heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe. A chassid of the tzt"z wanted to travel to Eretz Yisrael. The tzt"z told him: 'Reb Hillel does not lack Eretz Yisrael; you lack Eretz Yisrael—make here Eretz Yisrael.' (From this story we see that the tzt"z even called out with such words in front of Reb Hillel.)
I hope you will have good news in this matter and that you will write me about it.
Yesterday, because of the yahrzeit after my father of blessed memory, I was at the Ohel of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, and mentioned you and your household for all their needs.
I assume that you have already received the essay—in English—about Africa and also the booklet on communal activism, and will notify me about this.
