הנה לדעתי לא ישנה בסדריו מפני ענין זה. וכל הריוח השייך אליו בקשר עם נסיעתו, בלי ספק יבוא לידו בשלימות, אם על ידי עלית השער או באו"א. ומאי נפ"מ לי'.
ולכאורה, אלו שזכו לחלק היפה לעמוד בקרוב לענינים של תורה ותמיכתה ומרחוק לענינים של עולם ומסחר, למה להם להתעמק ולתת מיגיע מוחם לתחבולות של מסחר וכיו"ב. והרי בנוגע להם דרישת הכתוב וברכך הוי' בכל אשר תעשה דוקא - ממלאים הם במילואה ע"י עשיית כלי פרנסה באופן הרגיל. וכח ההמצאה ההשגה והעמקה (ואצ"ל ההתקשרות) שלהם שייכים לענינים של תורה ואופני תמיכתה. ועל הקב"ה לתת בכלים רגילים אלו הצלחה מרובה בגו"ר למעלה מדרך הרגיל, כי כך היא המדה.

In response to your letter through your family, asking whether you should extend or shorten your travel schedule due to speculation about the rise of the country's currency value, my opinion is that you should not change your plans because of this matter. Any profit connected with your trip will certainly come to you in full—whether through the rise of the currency or otherwise. What difference does it make?
Seemingly, those who have merited the good portion of being close to matters of Torah and its support, and distant from worldly and business matters—why should they delve deeply and devote their intellectual effort to business strategies and the like? For them, the verse requires: 'And the L‑rd will bless you in all that you do'—they fulfill this fully by making a vessel for livelihood in the usual manner. Their power of invention, understanding, and depth (and certainly their attachment) belongs to matters of Torah and ways of supporting it. And it is upon Hashem to grant abundant success in these regular vessels beyond the natural order, for such is His measure.
Enclosed is a letter for the Avrech who wrote on your behalf; I do not know his address. Thank you very much for your effort in delivering my letters.
With regards to our Jews—as explained by my father-in-law, the Rebbe: 'Our Jews means Jews who are connected to Torah and mitzvos' (and who among the children of Avraham Yitzchak and Yaakov is not connected to Torah and mitzvos). Wishing you success in your matters.
