געוויסע אידישע קרייזן, וואו תורה און מצוות זיינען ליידער, לעת עתה, אין אן אפגעלאזענעם מצב, זיינען אויסגעשטעלט צו דער געפאר פון א גרויסער פראפאגאנדע מצד מיסיאנערן, וועלכע צילן, אויף אן אפענעם אדער פארשטעלטן אופן, צו שמד ר"ל.
ספעציעל פארלעגן זיי זיך אויף קינדער, וועמענס אידישע דערציאונג איז פארנאכלעסיקט געווארן.
אויב אלעמאל איז געווען, אז כל המקיים נפש אחת מישראל כאילו קיים עולם מלא, היינט על אחת כמה וכמה איצט, ווען מען האט מיט אמאל צוגענומען פון אונז מיליאנען פון אונזערע ברידער און שוועסטער הקדושים והטהורים שנהרגו על קידוש השם, איז יעדער נפש אן עולם מלא, און מען מוז אנווענדן די גרעסטע כוחות אויף אפהיטן זיין פארבונד מיט שמו יתברך.
גרויס איז די אחריות בנוגע קינדער בפרט, וואס זיי דארפן אין דער צוקונפט בויען א בית בישראל, איז יעדע שלעכטע השפעה אויף זיי, ומכל שכן א השפעה פון כפירה ר"ל, נוגע לדורותיהם ולדורות דורותיהם.
איך בין דערפאר געווען העכסט צופרידן צו הערן וועגן א גרעסערע התעוררות וואס האט זיך אנגעהויבן אין פאראנטווארטליכע אידישע קרייזן אנצונעמען פראקטישע שריט צו באקעמפן די פארפירערישע השפעות, און צו פארהיטן אידישע נשמות פון אפגעריסן צו ווערן ח"ו פון אידישן מקור.
איך בין ספעציעל צופרידן צו אונטערשטיצן די הצלת נפשות ארבעט פון "ועד מגיני ומרחיבי החינוך הכשר", געגרינדעט פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אונטער דער אויפזיכט פון "מרכז לעניני חנוך", וועלכע האט אויסגעארבעט גרעסערע פלענער אויף דעם געביט און טרעט-צו צו זייער פארווירקליכונג.
עס איז זיכער די פליכט פון יעדן אידן, מאן אדער פרוי, מיטצוהעלפן אין דער דאזיקער וויכטיקער און דרינג[ענ]דער ארבעט לויט זייערע בעסטע מעגליכקייטן, און דער זכות פון דער מצוה פון הצלת נפשות וועט זיי געוויס ביישטיין להתברך בכל טוב.

To our brothers, sons and daughters of Israel, and especially those in Greater New York—may Hashem be upon them for life—Shalom u'Vrachah!
Certain Jewish circles, where Torah and mitzvos are unfortunately, for now, in a neglected state, are exposed to the danger of a major propaganda effort by missionaries who aim—openly or covertly—for conversion, G‑d forbid. They especially target children whose Jewish education has been neglected.
If it was always true that 'whoever sustains one soul from Israel is as if he sustained an entire world,' how much more so today—when millions of our holy and pure brothers and sisters were taken from us, murdered for the sanctification of His Name—each soul is an entire world. We must apply our greatest efforts to preserve their bond with His blessed Name.
The responsibility is especially great regarding children who will one day build Jewish homes; any negative influence on them—and certainly an influence of heresy, G‑d forbid—affects their descendants for generations.
I was therefore extremely pleased to hear about a growing awakening among responsible Jewish circles to take practical steps to combat these misleading influences and to protect Jewish souls from being torn away, G‑d forbid, from their source.
I am particularly pleased to support the lifesaving work of the "Vaad Meginim U'Marchivim HaChinuch HaKosher," founded by my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal (may the memory of the righteous be a blessing), under the supervision of "Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch," which has developed greater plans in this area and is working toward their realization.
It is certainly the duty of every Jew—man or woman—to assist in this important and urgent work according to their best abilities. The merit of the mitzvah of saving lives will surely stand by them to be blessed with all good.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that protecting Jewish children from harmful influences is a sacred duty for every Jew. Supporting efforts that safeguard their education ensures both present and future generations remain connected to Torah and mitzvos.
