I have received various greetings from your uncle... through our emissaries who are from time to time in Switzerland, and through your relatives here. I also had the opportunity to personally become acquainted with him... and to see how much a character like his needs friendship and friendly attention.
It is surely unnecessary to bring this to your attention or to emphasize the greatness of this matter, both from the standpoint of humanity and from the perspective of Torah. However, I allow myself to underline the great mitzvah that you and your wife may have by giving your uncle... more than usual attention and friendship.
According to a saying of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, that the Alm-ghty never remains indebted, I am certain that the Alm-ghty will repay you with much success and a happy life and much nachas from your son.
