אין בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען א גרוס פון אייער שול דורך הרה"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר חיים שי' שו"ב פלאטקין, און איך האף אז אוי[ך] להבא וועט אייער שול און די מתפללים שטייגען אין די ענינים פון תורה ומצות, וואס דורך דעם פועל'ט מען אויך אז די ברכות וואס השי"ת גיט יעדער איינעם אין דעם וואס ער נויטיגט זיך, האלטען אויך אין שטייגען פון צייט צו צייט.
און לויט ווי מיר האבען געהערט מערערע מאל פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אז בא יעדער אידען איז פריש און לעבעדיק אין זכרון זיינע עלטערען און די אלטע היים, און ווי עס איז צו זעהען זייט איר פון אנשי קיוב פון דער אלטער היים, האף איך איז אויך בא אייך פריש אין זכרון און שטייט פאר אייערע אויגען די הנהגות פון אייערע עלטערען און עלטערענס עלטערען פון דער אלטער היים, וועלכע זיינען געווען דורכגענומען מיט ווארימקייט און צוגעבונדענקייט צו תורה און מצות, און וואס דאס מוז אנגעהאלטען ווערען דורך יעדער אידען אין יעדער צייט און אין יעדער ארט וואו ער זאל ניט זיין, ווארום אזוי ווי השי"ת איז א נצחי - אייביג - אזוי זיינען אויך תורה ומצות נצחיים - אייביגקייטען - און אזוי אויך דער עם ישראל אלס גאנצער און יעדער איד בפרט, אנהאלטענדיק אין תורה ומצות ווערט מען פאראיינציגט מיט הקב"ה, אז עס זאל זיין ישראל ואורייתא וקודשא בריך הוא כולא חד.

I was pleased to receive greetings from your shul through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n one involved with tzt"z Moreinu HaRav Chaim Platkin, shochet u'bodek. I hope that also in the future your shul and its congregants will continue to grow in matters of Torah and mitzvos. Through this, it is also accomplished that the blessings which Hashem gives each person in what he needs will also increase from time to time.
And as we have heard many times from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbg"m zya"a, that for every Jew there is a fresh and lively memory of their parents and the old home. And as can be seen since you are from the people of Kiev from the old home, I hope that among you too there is a fresh memory and before your eyes stand the customs of your parents and grandparents from the old home. These were permeated with warmth and attachment to Torah and mitzvos. This must be maintained by every Jew at all times and in every place where he may be. For just as Hashem is eternal—forever—so too are Torah and mitzvos eternal—everlasting—and so too is the Jewish people as a whole and each Jew individually. By holding fast to Torah and mitzvos one becomes united with Hakadosh Baruch Hu so that "Yisrael v'Oraysa v'Kudsha Brich Hu kulah chad" (Israel, Torah, and the Holy One Blessed Be He are all one).
