Shalom u'Vrachah!

I received your three letters, especially your second letter from Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Miketz, in which you write that you have remained at your sacred post in the vineyard of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), and without any doubt this is for your benefit both materially and spiritually, as well as for the benefit of your family. It is proper that your heart be confident in Hashem that you will certainly see this with your own eyes, and may Hashem grant that this will be soon. It is known the story of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, that a true chassid must be permeated (durchgedrungen) with the idea that he is "the animal of the Holy One Blessed Be He" (see Tanya end of chapter 46 and there chapter 18), which means he must fulfill his tasks—this is "giving milk," etc.—and his sustenance and all his needs are upon his Master, Who is the King of kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu.

With blessings for success in all your matters and especially in your holy work bringing close the hearts of Israel to their Father in Heaven.
