לכבוד דעם יום-טוב פורים שיק איך אייך אין נאמען פון מרכז לעניני חינוך און אין מיין אייגענעם נאמען וואונשען אויף א פרייליכן פורים.
איך לעג דא ביי דעם מאמר וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א האט ארויסגעגעבען אויף פורים, ווי אויך קאפיעס פון מיינע בריוו צו אונזערע פריינד ה' סטולמאן און ה' לעסער יחיו.
די גמרא (ב"ב ט, א) זאגט, גדול המעשה יותר מן העושה, דאס הייסט, ווי גרויס די פארדינסטן פון די וועלכע שטיצן מיט זייער געלט זיינען, נאך גרעסער זיינען די פארדינסטן פון דעם וועלכער האט זיי מקרב געווען און געבראכט צו דעם אז זיי זאלן טאן אט די גוטע טהאטען.
און יעדעס מאל ווען מיר טראכטן וועגן דער וויכטיגער הילף וועלכע אונזערע פריינד האבן געלייסטעט צום מרכז לעניני חינוך דורך אייער מיטהילף, און פילן א דאנקבארקייט צו זיי, פיל גרעסער איז אונזער דאנקבארקייט צו אייך, אלס מעשה, וועלכער האט זיי מקרב געווען צו אידישקייט בכלל און צו דער ארבעט פון מל"ח בפרט.
איך האף, אז איר וועט אייער גוטע ארבעט פארזעצן און זען צו [משפ]יע זיין אויף אונזערע גוטע פריינד צו מאכן נאך גרעסערע אנ[שטרענג]ונגען צו העלפן דורכפירן די פראגראם פון מל"ח, וועלכע [האלט זיך] אין פארגרעסערן, און מוז כסדר פארגרעסערן זיך, און שוין היינט זיינען די מינימאלסטע באדערפנישן פון מל"ח פיל גרעסער ווי די מאקסימאלע באדערפנישן מיט א פאר יאר צוריק.
מיט א הערצליכן גרוס און די בעסטע וואונשן לפורים שמח וטוב לב צו אייך און אלע אייערע יחיו.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In honor of this Yom Tov of Purim, I wish you, in the name of Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch and in my own name, a joyous Purim. I am enclosing here the maamar that the Rebbe Rayatz shlita published for Purim, as well as copies of my letters to our friends Mr. Stulman and Mr. Lesser, may they live.
The Gemara (Bava Basra 9a) says: "Gadol ha'maaseh yoter min ha'oseh" (Greater is the one who causes others to act than the one who acts himself). This means that as great as the merit is for those who support with their money, even greater is the merit of one who brings them closer and causes them to do these good deeds.
And every time we think about the important help our friends have given to Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch through your assistance, and feel gratitude toward them, our gratitude toward you—as the 'maaseh,' the one who brought them closer to Judaism in general and to the work of Merkos in particular—is even greater.
I hope you will continue your good work and seek to influence our good friends to make even greater efforts in helping carry out the program of Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch, which is expanding and must continually expand. Even today, the minimal needs of Merkos are much greater than its maximal needs were just a few years ago.
