In response to your letter from Monday of Parshat Vayechi...

b) In the meantime, you have surely received my previous letter. Please confirm its receipt. The printed materials will be sent to you as requested, through the arrangement with Reb Shmuel Zalmanov.

c) Today I received your letter that those in Poland have received certificates and hope that the sick there will recover next week.

d) Surely you are involved and participating in matters of Melach or Machane Yisrael – and I would be glad if, when I next speak about you before my revered father-in-law the Rebbe shlita, I can report some details of your activities.

See in the Siddur in the discourses for Lag BaOmer that on the day of a hilula (yahrzeit), the one whose hilula it is ascends to the highest level he reached during his lifetime, and all his life's work ascends with him. In Iggeres HaKodesh section 28 it is stated that at this time it is very easy for his students to receive their portion; and in that same section it says this can even be in something not fitting their level or essence.
