מכתבו אישור קבלת חבילת ספרים בשביל הקיבוץ הגיעני, וע"פ הצעתו נשלחו עוד שלשה טופסים של הזכרונות לחלקם בשאר הבתים, ובטח יאשר הקבלה.
בודאי סידרו הספרים בקיבוצים באופן שרבים יכולים להשתמש בהם, וכמו שדברתי בהיותי בפאריז, ואשמח לשמוע אם עלתה בידם להרחיב חוג הלומדים בהם גם חוצה, היינו עש"נ שבחוצה שרק ע"י הפצת מעינותיך יש להעלותם* - וצע"[ק] מתדבא"ר רפכ"א (עה"פ ירמי' ה: שוטטו בחוצות ירושלים) אין חוצות אלא בכנ"ס וביהמ"ד. ואולי הוא בכ"מ לפי ענינו ואכ"מ.

Your letter confirming receipt of the package of books for the kibbutz has reached me, and following your suggestion, three more copies of the Zichronot were sent to be distributed among the other homes. Please confirm their receipt.
Certainly, the books were arranged in the kibbutzim so that many can use them, as I discussed when I was in Paris. I would be glad to hear if you have succeeded in expanding the circle of those studying them even outside (the core group), meaning those "outside," who can only be elevated through spreading your wellsprings—see also Tza"k Metdabar Rafka"a (on Yirmiyahu 5: Wander through the streets of Jerusalem), where "streets" refers to synagogues and study halls. Perhaps it is different elsewhere according to its context; this is not the place to elaborate.
Enclosed is a letter for Mrs. Galenbowitch—since in her letter she mentioned your address, please excuse me for this trouble.
