בחשבי ע"ד חוסר האמצעים להדפסת כתבי וספרי כ"ק רבותינו הצעתי לפני אחיו ע"מ שימסור לכם, והנני כופל הצעתי גם בכתב שתסדרו ועד להדפסה מבין אנ"ש והתמימים, ותפקידו יהי' לייסד קרן להדפסה (ע"י נדבות מאנשים שירצו שיזכר שמם על הספר, או לזכר נשמת כו' וכיו"ב. נדבות סתם וכו') ולהשתדל אח"כ בהפצת הנדפסים (שעי"ז יוחזר לקופתם חלק עכ"פ ממה שישקיעו בהדפסה).
איני רוצה לכתוב יותר פרטים בזה, מאי ידעי תנאי מקומם במקצוע זה, וזה עליהם להחליט כפי בינתם. ומה שנודע לי הוא זה שלא תהי' מניעה מפני חוסר אמצעים, להפצת תורת רבותינו, כיון שכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א נתן הרשיון לפרסמם, אחכה לחוות דעתו בכלל בזה וגם באופן חיובי, להצעתו את מי להכניס בועד זה (בכל אופן מוכרח שהוא יהי' בהועד) וזאת להעיר אשר ע"ע לא השתתפו יושבי אה"ק בהוצאת הדפסת תורת דא"ח כלל.
מטובו לתת לאחי שי' עשרים ליטראות בהקדם. ויכול לקחת מקופתנו ות"ח מראש.

It has been a long time since we have received a letter from you, although we did receive regards through your brother, Reb Sh. I have been thinking about the lack of resources for printing the writings and books of our holy Rebbeim, so I suggested to your brother that he convey to you—and now I am repeating my suggestion in writing—that you organize a committee for printing among Anash and the Tmimim. Its task would be to establish a fund for printing (through donations from people who wish their names to be mentioned in the book, or in memory of someone, etc., as well as general donations), and then work on distributing the printed works (so that at least part of what is invested in printing will be returned to their fund).
I do not want to write more details about this, since I do not know your local circumstances in this area; it is up to you all to decide according to your understanding. What I do know is that there should not be any obstacle due to lack of means for spreading the teachings of our Rebbeim, since my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, has given permission for their publication. I await your opinion on this matter in general and also specifically whom you suggest including in this committee (in any case, it is essential that you yourself be on the committee). Please note that so far those living in Eretz Yisrael have not participated at all in publishing Chassidus.
Please kindly give my brother twenty pounds as soon as possible. He can take it from our funds, and thank you in advance. Regarding Torah Shalom: my brother gave me nineteen and a half shekels, and for my package I paid eighteen shekels as per his instructions. You may also send us twenty copies of Tanya.
I hope that within about a month the printing of Toras Chaim, Imrei Binah, and Pirush HaMilot will be completed. You surely know that Derech Mitzvosecha has been published as well as Siddur Torah Or with Shaar HaKolel. I await your response regarding all of the above and conclude with best wishes for all good.
