Your letter reached me after some delay. To my great regret, the financial situation here is very tight, as you surely know, and there is no room to conduct another fundraising campaign. In my humble opinion, the correct approach is that you should write directly from there to donors here according to the addresses held by your kolel and similar sources.

P.S. Many thanks for your efforts regarding the certificate for my mother. Surely you will continue in this matter to bring it to a good conclusion. According to what is heard here, there is hope that an exit permit will be granted since it concerns a woman of seventy years old—may she have long and good years. One who begins a mitzvah is told to complete it and merits that his years are lengthened in goodness and pleasantness, as our Sages say. I would appreciate being informed of any developments in this matter.
