במענה על מכתבם שדברו עם הרה"ג והרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מוה"ר בנימין שי' גאראדעצקי אודות נסיעתם לצרפת ללמוד שם בישיבת תומכי תמימים:
הנה בכלל בחורי ותלמידי ישיבה צריכים להיות מסורים ונתונים להנהלת הישיבה וסדרי', ובמילא לכל לראש צריכים הם לשאול דעת ההנהלה בזה, כיון שהיא יודעת את כשרונותיהם ואת החיל אשר עשו בלימודם עד עתה, ואם כן הדבר אשר כבר התדברו עם ההנהלה דישיבת אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאווטש, במכנז, וגם הם מסכימים שנכונה נסיעתם לפאריז, אזי יהי רצון מהשי"ת שיהי' בהצלחה, ובלבד שיקחו על עצמם תוספת שקידה והתמדה בלימודם בתורה וביראת שמים, ואז תכתוב הנהלת ישיבתם להרה"ג והרה"ח וכו' וכו' מוהר"ב שי' גאראדעצקי לפאריז על דבר סידור הניירות. והשי"ת יצליחם.
בטח יקחו חלק בהתועדות דימי הגאולה והסגולה הם י"ב וי"ג תמוז הבע"ל בהתעוררות המתאימה ללכת בדרכי בעל השמחה ובהתקשרות על ידי זה באילנא דחייא בתוספת כח ועוז.

In response to your letter regarding your conversation with Haraha"g veHaraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved in tzt"z etc. Moreinu HaRav Binyamin Garadetsky about your trip to France to study at the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva: In general, yeshiva students must be devoted and committed to the administration of the yeshiva and its regulations. Therefore, first and foremost, you must consult with the administration on this matter, since they know your abilities and the progress you have made in your studies until now. If you have already discussed this with the administration of Yeshivas Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch in Meknez, and they also agree that your trip to Paris is appropriate, then may it be G‑d's will that it be successful—provided you take upon yourselves additional diligence and perseverance in your Torah study and fear of Heaven. Then your yeshiva's administration will write to Haraha"g veHaraha"ch etc. etc. Moreinu HaRav Binyamin Garadetsky in Paris regarding arranging the necessary papers. May Hashem grant you success.
Certainly you will participate in the farbrengen of the days of redemption and auspiciousness—12th and 13th Tammuz—coming up soon, with appropriate inspiration to follow in the ways of the Baal HaSimcha (the one whose redemption is celebrated) and strengthen your connection through this with the Tree of Life (Ilanah DeChaya) with increased strength and vigor.
