Regarding what you wrote about the ability to bring our righteous Moshiach already through yichudim (spiritual unifications) and so forth—see what the Mitteler Rebbe writes in Shaarei Orah, discourse beginning "Yavi'u Levush Malchut" page 94 and on, where he explains the difference between "Be'itah" and "Achishenah" ("in its time" and "I will hasten it").
Enclosed is a booklet published in connection with the days of redemption, Yud-Beis–Yud-Gimmel Tammuz, which is approaching; certainly you will find in it much relevant content.
