קבלתי מכתבו מכ' סיון, וכן בשעתו מסר לי הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מוהרחמ"א שי' חדקוב תוכן מכתבו אליו, ושמחתי אשר סו"ס גם הוא מודה שעבודתו עושה פרי, ויעזרהו השי"ת לראות את זה בתוספת וגם בעיני בשר.
במ"ש שזהו, היינו נער יחידי חלקו מכל עמלו, הנה תיכף לזה שוברו בצדו שכותב אשר תקותו לבוא לכאן עם איזה מתלמידיו לי"ב תמוז הבע"ל.
בנוגע לשאלתו אודות המיסיאנערן, הנה לדעתי אין כדאי להכנס עמהם בוויכוחים ע"פ שכל, אלא שצריך לחפש דרכים המתאימים לגלות את קלונם בפרסום רב, היינו שמרמים הם את הבריות, אינם מגלים א"ע שהם מסיתים ומדיחים וכן שעושים את זה בעד קבלת פרס וכו' וכו' וכמדומה שבירחון דזשואיש לייף מחדש אייר-סיון נדפס מאמר ע"ד פעולותיהם בבראנקס שאפשר יביא גם לו תועלת.
קרה לפעמים שכאשר רימו הנ"ל את הבריות שאלו עד"ז באופן רשמי אצל הכומרים, ומוכרחים היו לפרסם דעתם בקהל, שאין הם הכומרים מסכימים מצדם לדרכי השקר והרמי' שאחזו בהם המיסיאנערן, אלא שצריך לברר מקודם במה הוא ענין הרמי' שלהם, וכמעט תמיד יש איזה פרט שמרמים הם בדברי שקר וכיו"ב...

I received your letter from the 20th of Sivan, and at the appropriate time, Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved with tzt"z etc. Morenu HaRav Chaim Mordechai Aizik Hodakov gave me the content of your letter to him. I was glad that finally you also acknowledge that your work is bearing fruit, and may Hashem help you see this even more so and with your physical eyes as well.
Regarding what you wrote—that you are a lone youth, separated from all your efforts—immediately after this comes its counterbalance: you write that you hope to come here with some of your students for the upcoming 12th of Tammuz.
Concerning your question about the missionaries: in my opinion, it is not worthwhile to enter into intellectual debates with them. Rather, one should seek ways suitable for publicly exposing their shame—that is, showing that they deceive people, do not reveal themselves as inciters and seducers, and do so for reward and so on. It seems that in the Jewish Life magazine (Iyar-Sivan issue), there was an article about their activities in the Bronx which might also be useful for you.
It has sometimes happened that when these aforementioned deceivers misled people, someone officially asked the priests about it, and they were forced to publicly declare before the community that they—the priests—do not agree with the ways of falsehood and deceit practiced by the missionaries. However, it is necessary first to clarify exactly what their deceit consists of; almost always there is some detail where they lie or similar.
