און אין ענטפער אויף דעם בריף, וויל איך אויסדריקען מיין וואונש און ברכה, אז איר זאלט ערפילען די האפנונג וואס דער רבי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט געלייגט אויף אייער פאראייניגונג, וואס דברי צדיקים קיימים לעד, און וואס דער וואונש און פארלאנג פון א צדיק, איז דאס ניט סתם א פארלאנג, נאר דאס איז אויך א נתינת כח, דאס הייסט אז דאס גיט ספעציעלע כחות צו די פון וועמען דער רבי פארלאנגט, אז מען זאל נאכקומען זיין פארלאנג אין דער פולער מאס, א ספעציעלער שטריך איז אויך געווען בא דעם רבי'ן כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, וואס זיינע פארלאנגען און פאדערונגען האט ער דאס אויך געגעבען אין אזא פארם, אז יענער זאל ממלא זיין דאס בחסד ובשמחה, און אלע די וואס זיינען זוכה צו זיין אין דער פאראייניגונג, שנתיסדה ווען דער רבי איז געווען בעלמא דין, און וואס עס איז זיכער אז אויך איצט איז ער - כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - מגין אויף דער פאראייניגונג ובכלל און אויף יעדער איינע פון די חברות בפרט, וועט איר זיכער אנווענדען אלע אייערע כחות אויף נאכצוקומען זיינע פארלאנגען פון אייך, און פארשאפען דערמיט א נחת רוח אין פולען זין פון ווארט, וואס דאס איז אויך א צנור און א כלי אויף ממשיך זיין ברכה והצלחה אין אייערע ענינים פרטים אויך.
עס איז אויך זעלבסטפארשטענדליך, אז אייער אויפגאבע באשטייט ניט נאר - ווי איר שרייבט אין אייער בריף - אויף זאמלען פאנדען פאר די מוסדות ליובאוויטש, ווארום ווי גרויס דאס זאל ניט זיין, איז דערמיט אליין איז מען ניט יוצא, און אלס אזוינע וואס אן יעדע פון אייך היינגט אפ א השפעה אין א גרויסע מאס אין די הייזער אייערע און אויך די ווירקונג אויף א באשטימטער סביבה, דארפט איר אויך דינען אלס לעבעדיגער ביישפיל, ווי א ליובאוויטשע פרוי באדארף זיך אויפפירען פערזענליך, ווי אזוי זי דארף אוועקשטעלען איר הויז, און וועלכע ווירקונג זי איבט אויס אויף איר גאנצער אומגעבונג, אז מען זאל קענען מיט שטאלץ זאגען, ראו גידולים שגדלתי, אט דאס הייסט די אמת'ע חסידישע פרוי און פון איר קען מען זיך אפלערנען.
און ווי עס שטייט אין דער סדרה וואס מען האט היינט שבת אין דער פרי געלייענט אין דער תורה, כה תאמר לבית יעקב ותגיד לבני ישראל, זאגט אויף דעם דער מדרש, אז הקב"ה אט געזאגט צו משה רבינו, פריער תאמר לבית יעקב אלו הנשים און דערנאך ותגיד לבני ישראל אלו האנשים, און אויף דעם וועג וועט די תורה האבען א קיום בא אידען, און אזוי איז אויך בפרט אין דער הנהגה פון דרכי החסידות און פון הנהגת החסידים דארפט איר איינשטעלען זיך אז מען זאל זעהן דעם תאמר לבית יעקב און דעם ריכטיגען שטעל אין אייערע הייזער, און מיט דער צייט אין די הייזער פון אייערע גוטע פריינד און באקאנטע.

With pleasure I received your letter in which you generally outline your activities and also inform that this Motzaei Shabbat Parshas Yisro you will be holding a "Melaveh Malka."
In response to this letter, I want to express my wish and blessing that you should fulfill the hope that the Rebbe, my father-in-law the Admor zatzal nbg"m zya"a placed upon your association. The words of tzaddikim endure forever, and when a tzaddik wishes or requests something, it is not just a request but also an empowerment—meaning it gives special strength to those from whom the Rebbe requests it so they can fulfill his request in full measure. A special characteristic of the Rebbe my father-in-law was that his requests and demands were given in such a way that one could fulfill them with kindness and joy. All those privileged to be part of this association—which was founded when the Rebbe was in this world—and who are certain that even now he protects the association as a whole and each member individually—will surely apply all their strengths to fulfill his requests from you, thereby creating true nachas ruach (pleasure) in every sense of the word. This itself becomes a channel and vessel for drawing down blessing and success into your personal matters as well.
It is also self-evident that your task is not only—as you write in your letter—to collect funds for Lubavitch institutions. However great this may be, by itself it does not suffice; as such individuals upon whom each of you has great influence in your homes and also impact on a specific environment, you must also serve as living examples of how a Lubavitch woman should personally conduct herself, how she should establish her home, and what effect she has on her entire surroundings—so that one can proudly say: "Re'u gidulim shegidalti" (See the children I have raised). This is what defines a true chassidic woman from whom others can learn.
As it says in this week's Torah portion read this Shabbat morning: "Ko tomar leveis Yaakov ve'sageid livnei Yisrael" (So shall you say to the house of Yaakov [the women] and tell the children of Israel [the men]). The Midrash explains that Hashem told Moshe Rabbeinu: first speak to Beis Yaakov—the women—and then to Bnei Yisrael—the men. In this way Torah will endure among Jews. This is especially true regarding chassidic conduct; you must arrange things so that one sees this 'tomar leveis Yaakov' (speaking first to women) properly established in your homes—and over time also in those of your good friends and acquaintances.
