בנועם נודעתי אשר בעזה"י מסדרים במוצש"ק פ' ויצא, מ"מ[2] לכבוד כת"ר שי', ובל"ס אשר כל המשתתפים בזה יבואו לעזרתו ככל יכולתם שיהי' באפשריותו להסתדר באופן המתאים כדי שיוכל לנצל כחותיו בהנהגת עדה בישראל לקרב את לבם לאביהם שבשמים, מתוך מנוחת הנפש ומנוחת הגוף.
והנני בזה להביע ברכתי מראש לכל אלו שישתתפו בזה, ומוסג"פ המחאתי השתתפותי בהנ"ל, ביחד עם ברכתי אשר בעגלא דידן יבוא אל המנוחה ואל הנחלה באופן הטוב לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
וכסיום דפ' ויצא, ויעקב הלך לדרכו ויפגעו בו מלאכי אלקים, וגו', ויקרא שם המקום מחנים, ופרש"י שתי מחנות של חוצה לארץ כו' ושל ארץ ישראל, והמוסר השכל אשר בזה, אשר גם בהתחלת הליכת יעקב לדרכו, הנה תומ"י ויפגעו בו מלאכי אלקים, וכמרז"ל פתחו לי כחודה של מחט ואני אפתח לכם כפתחו של אולם, ויפגעו בו כו' שתי מחנות.
חיי הישראלי בכלל מתחלק לשני סוגים, חיי ארץ ישראל, היינו הזמן שהננו מוקדש לתורה תפלה וקיום המצות, וחיי חו"ל, העסק בעניני עולם, אשר גם בזה צריך להיות קיום הבכל דרכיך דעהו, וכמבואר ברמב"ם בראש הלכות דיעות ובטוש"ע או"ח סי' רל"א. ובשני סוגים אלו צריכים אנו לסייעתא דשמיא הניתנת לנו מאבינו שבשמים בעין יפה, וסייעתא זו היא הנותנת לנו כח ועוז במילוי שליחותינו בעלמא דין, אשר הוא להאיר את העולם ולקרבו לאותו היום שעליו נאמר ביום ההוא יהי' הוי' אחד ושמו אחד.

It is with pleasure that I learned that with G‑d's help, arrangements are being made on Motzaei Shabbat Parshat Vayetze, specifically in honor of your esteemed self. There is no doubt that all those participating will assist you to the best of their ability so that you can organize yourself in a fitting manner, enabling you to utilize your strengths in leading a community in Israel to bring their hearts closer to their Father in Heaven, with peace of mind and body.
I hereby express my blessing in advance to all who will participate in this, and I am enclosing my written participation as well as my blessing that speedily in our days you will come to rest and inheritance in the best way before Him, both materially and spiritually.
As the conclusion of Parshat Vayetze states: 'Vayaakov halach ledarko vayifge'u vo malachei Elokim...' ('And Yaakov went on his way and angels of G‑d met him...'), and he called the place Machanayim. Rashi explains: two camps—one from outside the Land (of Israel) and one from within the Land of Israel. The lesson here is that even at the beginning of Yaakov's journey, immediately 'angels of G‑d met him.' As our Sages say: 'Open for Me an opening like the eye of a needle and I will open for you an opening like a hall,' and 'they met him'—two camps.
The life of a Jew is generally divided into two types: life in Eretz Yisrael—meaning times dedicated to Torah, prayer, and mitzvah observance; and life outside Eretz Yisrael—engagement with worldly matters. Even then one must fulfill 'Bechol derachecha da'eihu' ('In all your ways know Him'), as explained by Rambam at the beginning of Hilchot Deot and by Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim siman 231.
In both these types we require Heavenly assistance granted generously by our Father in Heaven. This assistance gives us strength and courage to fulfill our mission in this world—to illuminate it and bring it closer to that day about which it is said: 'On that day Hashem will be One and His Name One.'

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that communal leadership requires both practical support from others and abundant Divine assistance. By dedicating ourselves to both spiritual pursuits and worldly responsibilities with awareness of G‑d, we fulfill our mission to bring light into the world.
