I received your two letters. Thank you for the discussion in the first regarding the spring that stopped flowing.

Regarding what you wrote in the second letter—that the great one from Minsk instructed to say specifically Kaddish Yatom after him—I would like to point out what is written in Sefer Mishmeres Shalom: in such cases, one should listen to the words of the deceased. Thus, it seems there is no disgrace to the mourner even if his father was a rasha (Sanhedrin 46b). However, it is difficult to understand since we see in practice that this is not so. See also Shulchan Aruch 20:30.
