I received your letter from Wednesday, Parshas Shelach, with the pidyon nefesh. When I am at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, I will read the pidyon nefesh and surely arouse mercy so that Hashem will fulfill your heart's desires for good.

I wish to repeat again what I have already written to you: that you must set fixed times for Torah study and also be careful to say the daily Tehillim as it is divided according to the days of the month. As you once wrote to me in a letter that you are very busy—this is precisely the advice: by showing Hashem that despite limitations and pressure, nevertheless one sets fixed times for Torah study, then Hashem fulfills what is stated: 'Im Bechukosai Teileichu' (If you walk in My statutes), which Rashi explains means to labor in Torah with effort and toil. Then 'Venatati Gishmeichem Be'itam' (I will give your rains in their season), and it is known that the inner meaning is that 'your rains' refers to your materiality—that all your material needs will come at their proper time and without confusion, so you can serve Hashem with peace of mind and body.
