מכתבו קבלתי בעתו, ושמחתי לקרות בו אשר לאט לאט התחיל להתעסק לתקן את הענינים בקהלתו, ובטח בהשתדלות הראוי' ובאופנים המתאימים יצליח השי"ת את עבודתו וילך מחיל אל חיל בהחזקת היהדות ובהפצת התורה בכל סביבתו.
ביחוד שמחתי לקרות במכתבו אשר התחיל באסיפת כספים לבנין המקוה, וא"מ מה שמסיים אח"כ שמוכרח הוא לדחות את הבנין.
בנוגע למה ששואל דעתי בענין הרבנות בריא דע זשאנעירא, הנה כפי הידוע לי מסובך שם הדבר, ולא כ"כ "חלק" ואם רואה הוא הצלחה בפעולותיו בקהלתו, הרי עכ"פ לע"ע אין כדאי להסתבך בענין ריא דע זשאנעירא.
כבקשתו בהפ"נ בסוף מכתבו, הנה כשאהי' על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אזכירו ואת ב"ב שי' לכאו"א להמצטרך לו.
מוסג"פ קטע משיחת התועדות שבת מברכים אלול, וכן מכתבי הכללי לתלמידי בתי חינוך להתחלת הלימודים, ואם יוכל להביא איזה תועלת בעבודתו, הרי ישמח לבי גם אני.

I received your letter in due time, and I was pleased to read that little by little you have begun to work on improving matters in your community. Surely, with proper effort and in appropriate ways, may Hashem grant success to your work so that you go from strength to strength in strengthening Judaism and spreading Torah throughout your surroundings.
I was especially happy to read in your letter that you have begun collecting funds for building the mikveh, though I am sorry about what you wrote later that it is necessary to postpone the construction.
Regarding your question about the rabbinate in Ria de Zhaneira: as far as I know, the matter there is complicated and not so "smooth." If you see success in your activities within your own community, then at least for now it is not worthwhile to get involved with the matter of Ria de Zhaneira.
As you requested in the pidyon nefesh at the end of your letter, when I am at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), I will mention you and your family for everything each one needs.
