Shalom u'Vrachah!
Your letter from the 16th of Iyar was received, in which you write that it is difficult to establish a school or cheder for those who are observant, and therefore the children are learning in places that are against the religion of Israel.
I was shocked to read such news, especially at a time when everyone knows about the self-sacrifice Jews have had so that their children would receive an education not only not against the religion of Israel—which could mean settling for a neutral education—but they invested efforts up to self-sacrifice so that the education would be specifically in the spirit of the religion of Israel.
Especially as you write that you are the rabbi of this village, and the responsibility of a rabbi is not only to rule on questions when asked but mainly to influence the community so they know they must ask questions. In other words, they should know that every Jew's soul stood at Mount Sinai and accepted the Torah with 'Na'aseh v'Nishma' ("We will do and we will hear") and received directly from G‑d the commandment of 'Anochi Hashem Elokecha' ("I am Hashem your G‑d") which includes all 248 positive commandments, and 'Lo Yihiyeh Lecha Elohim Acherim' ("You shall have no other gods before Me") which includes all 365 prohibitions.
May Hashem grant you success in your work, especially in these days of preparation for Matan Torah when all matters connected with Matan Torah are awakened each year during these days.
