בנועם קבלתי פ"ש ממנו ואחרי כן גם ספרו נעים זמירות ישראל חלק רביעי, וכמעשהו בראשונים מעשהו בזה להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה ע"י ענינים דיראת שמים ודברי התעוררות בזה אשר אז יראת ה' היא אוצרו של הלומד תורה. ולמרות מה שמסר לי הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר ליב שי' זלמנוב, תקותי שיוסיף אומץ גם בעסקנותו בצ"צ וכידוע פסק הירושלמי במעלת הענין וחפץ ד' בידו יצליח להוסיף אור בלבב כל אלו הנמצאים בסביבתו שיוכלו להתגבר על החשכה חשכת הגלות דדורנו דרא דעקבתא דמשיחא ולקרב עי"ז היעוד המקווה דלילה כיום יאיר בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה ע"י משיח צדקנו.

It was pleasant for me to receive regards from you, and afterwards also your book "Na'im Zemiros Yisrael," fourth part. As with your previous works, this too is done to magnify and glorify Torah through matters of fear of Heaven and words of inspiration in this area, for then the fear of Hashem is the treasure of one who studies Torah.
And despite what was conveyed to me that Havavach iy"a nu"n is involved in tzt"z Mohar Leib Zalmanov, my hope is that you will further strengthen your activism in tzt"z as is known from the ruling of the Yerushalmi regarding the greatness of this matter. And may the desire of Hashem in your hand succeed to add light into the hearts of all those found in your surroundings, so they can overcome the darkness—the darkness of exile in our generation, ikvesa d'Meshicha—and thereby bring closer the anticipated promise that "the night will shine like day" with the true and complete redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
