ווארום אז מען טוט א טובה וועלכע טובה עס זאל ניט זיין מיט א צווייטען זאגען אויף דעם רבותינו זכרונם לברכה יותר ממה שבעל הבית עושה עם העני, העני עושה עם בעל הבית, און ווען די טובה איז א רוחניות'דיקע, וואס מען איז מקרב לאבינו שבשמים לתורה ולמצות, איז די טובה וואס מען באקומט אליין דורך דעם נאך פיל פיל גרעסער, און בפרט דריקט זיך דאס אויס אין דער ברכה פון השם יתברך אז ער העלפט דעם וואס טוט די טובה ברוחניות אז ער אליין זאל זיך קענען אויפפירען לויט דער פאדערונג פון תורתנו הק' אן שטערונגען און אויך אין די פריוואטע ענינים זיינע זאל ער שטייגען מחיל אל חיל.
און השם יתברך זאל דיר העלפען אז דו זאלסט טאן אין דער אויבען דערמאנטער מסיבת שבת מיט א איבערגעבענהייט וואס עס ווערט ערווארטעט פון א אידישער טאכטער און זאלסט מצליח זיין אין דעם צו זעהען גוטע פעולות פון דיין ארבעט אין דעם און זאלסט קענען אנזאגען גוטע בשורות אין דעם און אויך פון דיין הצלחה אין דיינע לימודים און מעשים בכלל.

I was pleased to receive your letter at the beginning of the week, in which you write that you have begun to participate in a Shabbat gathering organized by the Anash of Lubavitch.
Because when one does a favor—whatever kind of favor it may be—for another person, our Rabbis of blessed memory say: "Yoter mimah sheba'al habayit oseh im ha'ani, ha'ani oseh im ba'al habayit" (More than what the host does for the poor person, the poor person does for the host). And when the favor is a spiritual one—bringing someone closer to our Father in Heaven, to Torah and mitzvot—the benefit one receives oneself through this is much, much greater. This is especially expressed in the blessing from Hashem Yitbarach that He helps the one who does the spiritual favor so that he himself can conduct himself according to the demands of our holy Torah without obstacles. Also, in his personal matters he will ascend from strength to strength.
And may Hashem Yitbarach help you so that you will participate in the above-mentioned Shabbat gathering with the devotion expected from a Jewish daughter and succeed in this—to see good results from your work in this area. May you be able to report good news about this and also about your success in your studies and deeds in general.
