במענה על מכתבו מט' אייר, הנה ידוע תורת הבעש"ט שהוא יסוד תורתנו הק' אשר כל הענינים שבעולם הם בהשגחה פרטית ממנו ית' אשר הוא המשגיח על כל אחד מבני ישראל לא רק בכללות אלא גם בכל הפרטים ופרטי פרטים שבחיי היום יומים ובמילא על כל אחד אומר הכתוב, ד' לי לא אירא, ואף שלפעמים מסיחים דעת מזה הרי אין זה אלא עצת היצר שרוצה להפחיד ח"ו את ישראל מאבינו שבשמים ע"י טענות של שטות וכמרז"ל בזה. כי הרי האמת הוא כנ"ל אשר כל אחד ואחת מישראל בנים הם לאבינו שבשמים ואי אפשר להפריד בין אב לבן ובת. היוצא מזה שאין כל מקום לפחד ח"ו כלל כיון שה' צלך על יד ימינך והוא ית' שומר ומשגיח על כל אחד ואחד מאתנו. ותקותי ששורותי אלה המעטים בכמות יספיקו שיהיו חזקים בבטחונם בהשי"ת בחיי היום יומים ובבטחה ובשמחה יתעסקו בעניניהם.
והשי"ת ימלא ימי הריונה כשורה ובנקל ותלד זחו"ק בעתה ובזמנה כשורה ובקל.

In response to your letter from the 9th of Iyar: It is well known from the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov—which are a foundation of our holy Torah—that all matters in the world are under Divine Providence from Him, may He be exalted. He watches over every Jew not only in general but also in every detail and particular of daily life. Therefore, regarding each person it is written: 'Hashem Li Lo Ira' ("G‑d is with me; I will not fear"). Even though sometimes one loses focus on this, it is only the counsel of the yetzer (evil inclination) that seeks to frighten—G‑d forbid—Israel from our Father in Heaven through foolish arguments, as our Sages say about this.
The truth is as above: Every single Jew is a child of our Father in Heaven, and it is impossible to separate between a father and his son or daughter. The conclusion from this is that there is absolutely no place for fear—G‑d forbid—at all, since 'Hashem Tzilcha Al Yad Yeminecha' ("G‑d is your shadow at your right hand") and He watches over each one of us.
I hope that these few lines will suffice so that you will be strong in your trust in Hashem in daily life, and that you will go about your affairs with confidence and joy.
May Hashem grant that her days of pregnancy be completed properly and easily, and she should give birth to a healthy child at its proper time easily and properly.
