אבער איר דארפט עם ערקלערען, און זיכער וועט איר געפינען די פאסענדע ווערטער צו דעם, אז די נשיאים רבותנו הק' האבען מערערע מאל געזאגט אז דער פארבונד מיט זיי איז דורך זייער תורה, וכמאמר אסתכל באורייתא וברא עלמא, וואס די כוונה איז אויף דעם עולם בכללות, איז אין דעם נכלל אויך דעם עולם קטן וואס איז דער אדם, במילא וואלט ער באדארפט גלייך באשליסען, און דערנאך אויך טאן צו האבען א קביעות אין לערנען די תורת הנשיאים וועלכע איז א חלק פון תורתנו הק' וועלכע איז געגעבען למשה מסיני, און זאל אנהויבען פון לערנען תניא, וואס זיכער וועט איר קענען מייעץ זיין עם אין דעם,

However, you must explain to him—and surely you will find the appropriate words—that our holy Rebbeim have repeatedly said that connection with them is through their Torah. As it is stated: 'Histakel b'Oraysa u'vara alma' (He looked into the Torah and created the world), and this refers not only to the world at large but also includes the microcosm that is man. Therefore, he should immediately decide—and then also act—to establish a regular study of the teachings of the Nesi'im, which are part of our holy Torah given to Moshe at Sinai. He should begin by learning Tanya, and you will surely be able to advise him in this. May it be G‑d's will that for long and good years, this aforementioned Rav should study both revealed Torah and Chassidus...
