בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מכ"ה ניסן ובתחלתו מודיע אשר בנו ראובן שלמה שי' התחיל ללמוד חומש, ויה"ר מהשי"ת אשר מלימוד המקרא יגדל לבן עשר למשנה וכו' והוא וזוגתו שיחיו ירוו ממנו רוב נחת חסידותי מתוך פרנסה טובה והרחבת הדעת.
נהניתי ממ"ש אודות העסקנות של צעירי אגו"ח בירוש"ת בפורים העבר ובודאי גם על להבא ינהג מנהג טוב זה להודיע ע"ד הנ"ל וכל המפרט בזה ה"ז משובח. ולפלא שעד עתה לא קבלתי ידיעות מפעולותיהם הטובות מפורים ועד עתה ובפרט ע"ד השתתפות בכינוס צעירי אגו"ח אשר בודאי היתה במדה המתאימה ואחכה לבשו"ט.
מקריאת ידיעותיו נשאר רושם אשר עבודת צעירי אגו"ח כשמבקרים בבתי כנסיות ומושבים אין להם תכנית מפורטת מראש וסומכין על המצב כשיבואו על אתר וכו' ואף שבודאי א"א לקבוע הפרטי פרטים קודם בואם על אתר אבל צריך שתהי' תכנית די מפורטת בכדי שלא יהי' בלבולים ואי סדר וכו' והרי צריך להזהר בכל מקום שבאים ביותר כיון שמביטים עליהם כעל דוגמא מהו צעיר חסיד חב"די וכשמוצאים איזה גרעון יש מקום לחשש שיתלו זה בהכלל ולא באיש פרטי זה וד"ל, וכבר ידוע מרז"ל כגון אנא דאי שקילנא וכו' (יומא פו, א).
בברכה שיזכה לבשר תמיד טוב בגו"ר הן בנוגע לעצמו והן בנוגע לחבריו בעבודתו בקדש.

I was pleased to receive your letter from the 25th of Nissan, in which you inform me that your son Reuven Shlomo has begun studying Chumash. May it be the will of Hashem that from his study of Mikra he will grow to be a son of ten for Mishnah, etc., and that you and your wife will derive much Chassidic nachas from him, together with good livelihood and broad-mindedness.
I enjoyed what you wrote about the activism of Tzeirei Agudas Chassidei Chabad in Jerusalem this past Purim, and certainly you will continue this good practice in the future by informing me about these matters. The more details provided, the better.
It is surprising that until now I have not received reports about their good activities from Purim until now, especially regarding participation in the Tzeirei Agudas Chassidei Chabad gathering, which surely was conducted appropriately. I await good news.
From reading your reports, it seems that when Tzeirei Agudas Chassidei Chabad visit synagogues and communities, they do not have a detailed plan beforehand and rely on circumstances as they arise. Although it is certainly impossible to determine every single detail before arriving on site, there must still be a sufficiently detailed plan to avoid confusion and disorder. It is especially important to be careful wherever you go because people look at you as an example of what a young Lubavitcher chassid is. If any deficiency is found, there is concern it will be attributed to the group as a whole rather than just an individual—this is well understood. As our Sages said: 'For example: If I would take...' (Yoma 86a).
