Shalom u'Vrachah!

My letter after Pesach surely arrived, as did the previous one with everything related to Torah Or and Likkutei Torah. Here I am coming to complete what pertains to the Piskei Dinim in addition to my letter from after Pesach.

a) As much as possible, the publication of the Piskei Dinim should resemble the Kehot edition of the tzt"z; it is surely available from them and from Rabbi Perlow.

b) In my letter from after Pesach I mistakenly wrote that on the title page it should say "second edition," but it should actually say "third edition."

c) The introduction (beyond the first title page): Copy my introduction to the tzt"z Responsa in Kehot's edition, Choshen Mishpat section or Shaar HaMiluim, but with these changes: (a) After the words "and his novellae on Shas," add "and in this third edition his Piskei Dinim." (b) After "HaMiluim vol. 3," add "and at the end of Piskei Dinim vol. 2." (c) The date should be: twentieth of Menachem Av 5708. (d) In a note after "Responsa Orach Chaim," add: "Tarmad (Piskei Dinim vol. 2), these Piskei Dinim were reprinted photographically from the first edition in Shanghai in 5706."

d) The next page should be dedicated to a blessing for the benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous, through whose help this book was published for the elevation of the souls of Tzvi Hirsch ben David and Chaya Golda bat Zalman Nach (passed away 19 Menachem Av 5704 and 18 Sivan 5699), through the efforts of Rabbi Shlomo Aharon ben Moshe Kazarnovsky. The following page should be blank; on the next page, centered and slightly toward the upper left corner: first line—Piskei Dinim; below that—tzt"z; below that—a dot; below that—First Volume: Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah. Above this—a table of contents with this wording: Table of Contents Orach Chaim A,1 Yoreh Deah A,1; then a photographic reproduction from print until end of vol. I.

e) The second volume should be bound separately; everything as above for vol. I except that the text on its first title page should match that on vol. II's title page—not vol. I—including... Mendel o.b.m.; instead of vol. I Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim it should read Second Volume: Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer and Choshen Mishpat Novellae and Collections. Above this—a table of contents as follows: Table of Contents Even HaEzer A,1 Choshen Mishpat H,G Novellae A,1 Novellae on Shas K,V Collections M,T Omissions and Corrections Notes; then photographic reproduction until completion; finally my notes attached separately in margins.

f) Please be very precise in proofreading, expedite all of the above, and inform me specifically.
