Gimmel Cheshvan

(Continuation of the above sichah[1]): Bereishis is a joyful sidrah, even though its end is not all that pleasant. Noach has the Flood, but the end of the week is joyful — our father Avraham is born. The truly joyful week is Parshas Lech Lecha: every day of that week one lives with our father Avraham, the first who had mesirus nefesh to make G‑dliness known in the world — and our father Avraham handed down his mesirus nefesh as an inheritance to all Jews.
