מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מיום הבהיר ל"ג בעומר ות"ח ת"ח על הבשו"ט ע"ד התועדות שעשו בשביל התלמידים בקשר עם יום בהיר זה ובודאי גם על להבא ישתדלו בענינים כמו אלו וכבר ידוע פסק רז"ל גדולה לגימה שמקרבת ובפרט בהנוגע לילדים ולילדות שאמרו בזה לעולם תהא ימין מקרבת וכו'.
בודאי משתדל ביתר שאת וביתר עז בקשר עם ימי החפש הממשמשים ובאים אשר אז כמה ילדים פנוים מהלימוד בבתי ספר המלוכה ובמילא רוצים ההורים שיהיו ילדיהם עסוקים עכ"פ איזה שעות ביום. ולכן זהו שעת הכושר להודיעם ע"ד פעולות תו"ת והת"ת ולשדלם בדברים שילמדו באחד המוסדות הנ"ל המתאימים וכשהיחס אליהם כשיהיו בהמוסדות באופן המתאים יש לקוות שמספר נכון מהם ישארו בד' אמות של חב"ד.
כבקשתו אזכירו ואת כל ב"ב שיחיו בהיותי על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע לבריאות הנכונה והשי"ת יצליחם בכל הנ"ל.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the bright day of Lag BaOmer, and thank you very much for the good news regarding the gathering you organized for the students in connection with this special day. Certainly, you will continue to strive in such matters in the future as well. It is already well known from our Sages that 'Gedolah Ligimah Shemekarevet' (Great is sharing food, for it brings people closer), especially regarding boys and girls, about whom it is said: 'Let your right hand always draw near,' etc.
Surely you will increase your efforts with even greater strength and vigor in connection with the approaching vacation days, when many children are free from their studies in public schools. As a result, parents want their children to be occupied at least a few hours each day. Therefore, this is an opportune time to inform them about the activities of Tzivos Hashem and Talmud Torah, and to encourage them with words so that they will study in one of these suitable institutions. When they are treated appropriately in these institutions, there is hope that a significant number of them will remain within the four cubits of Chabad.
As you requested, I will mention you and all your family when I am at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden—may you have proper health—and may Hashem grant you success in all of the above.
