Shalom u'Vrachah!

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the eve of the 26th of Adar Sheni, and above all I was pleased to receive your report from Erev Shabbat Parshat HaChodesh—the time of redemption, miracles, and joy (see Rashi Taanit 29b at the end)...

As we approach the upcoming festival of Pesach, I wish you and your family to celebrate it with kashrus and joy. As explained in many places, the Yomim Tovim influence the days that follow them until the next festival; as also explained in Likkutei Torah by our master the Alter Rebbe on Parshat Berachah p.98b, this influence should continue in your home and surroundings throughout the year.

There (in the aforementioned Likkutei Torah), it discusses the aspect of bittul present in all festivals—therefore it only needs to be drawn until the next festival. However, regarding matters unique to each festival, these are drawn for the entire year—especially concerning Pesach. As stated by my father-in-law, the Rebbe Rayatz, in his Pesach talk of 5703: The illumination of all festivals shines every day, but the illumination of Pesach continues always.

With honor and blessings for the festival.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that each Yom Tov leaves a lasting spiritual impact on us throughout the year—especially Pesach, whose unique light continues daily. We are encouraged to celebrate with joy and kashrus so this influence permeates our homes and lives all year long.
