... מ"ש שבעת התועדות ישנה התעוררות אבל אח"כ כשאין רואים הצלחה הנה נופל מעט ברוחו וחסר בענין השמחה. הנה אין להנהגה כזו יסוד כלל וכלל כי חזקה להתועדות חסידותי שפועלת, אלא שלפעמים ניכרת התועלת על אתר ולפעמים מתאחרים הדברים, אבל דבר בטוח הוא שסוכ"ס פועל זה הן בעצמו והן בסביבה.
והשי"ת יצליחו לעבדו מתוך שמחה ולהיות חזק במדת הבטחון כפשוטו ממש שיצליח בפרנסתו נוסף על עסקנות בצרכי צבור והוא וזוגתו שיחיו ירוו רוב נחת חסידותי מכל ילידי' שיחיו.

Such conduct has no basis whatsoever because it is certain that a chassidic farbrengen has an effect. Sometimes the benefit is apparent immediately and sometimes things are delayed, but it is absolutely certain that in the end this has an effect both on oneself and on one's surroundings. May Hashem grant you success to serve Him with joy and to be strong in the trait of trust—literally—that you will succeed in your livelihood in addition to your involvement in communal needs. May you and your wife enjoy much chassidic nachas from all your children.
