Sefer HaChinuch

ספר החינוך

Sefer HaChinuch is a classic Jewish text that provides a comprehensive exploration of the 613 commandments (mitzvot) in the Torah. The work is traditionally attributed to Rabbi Aharon HaLevi of Barcelona (the Ra'ah), although there is some debate about the exact authorship, with some attributing it to his brother, Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi. It was written in the 13th century in Spain, during the period known as the Spanish Golden Age of Jewish thought.
