און חאטש אין דעם פרט, אויף צוציהען פריינד, זעהט אויס, איז נאך ווייניג געטאן געווארען אין דעם, איז דאך פארשטענדליך, אז דאס איז ניט קיין טעם, אויף ניט טאן אין דעם אויך להבא, אדער טאן נאר בחלישות. ואדרבה, מ'דארף טאן אין דעם מיט מער ענערגיע. ויש מקום לומר, אז אפשר איצטער, וועט דאס אנקומען גרינגער, איידער מיט א צייט פריער.
ויהי רצון, לויט ווי עס ווערט גערעט אין די לעצטע חדשים און מ'האט שוין דאס אויך געזעהען אין אייניגע ענינים, זאל מען דאס אנזעהען אין אלע עניני אנ"ש, דעם ופרצת ימה וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה ועד לנחלה בלי מצרים.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Rosh Chodesh Adar Sheini with its enclosures, and surely in the meantime you have received my letter to you written before receiving the above-mentioned items.
May Hashem Yisbarach help that the signing of the contract for Beis Lubavitch in London, England should be a good beginning for the expansion of all Lubavitch matters—both spiritual and material—and in all details, in a manner fitting the will of our Rebbeim Nesi'einu zatzukal lahe nbg"m zi"a. This should be accomplished with true expansiveness, both in general matters and specific matters, by all those involved. This expansiveness includes drawing in as many good friends, friends, and even ordinary Jews as possible to these matters. As is well known from the saying of Rabbeinu HaZaken (the Alter Rebbe), the matter of Chassidus is not only for a particular group or just some Jews; rather it pertains to all Jews without exception. From this it is clear that ultimately it will reach and come to all Jews. In the language of Iggeres HaKodesh of the Baal Shem Tov: "Yafutzu mayanosecha (ad sheyagiu gam) chutzah" (Your wellsprings will spread forth until they reach even outside).
And although in this particular area—drawing friends—it seems little has been done so far, it is nevertheless clear that this is no reason not to act further in this area or to act only weakly. On the contrary, one must act here with more energy. And there is room to say that perhaps now it will be easier than at an earlier time.
May it be His will—as has been discussed in recent months and has already been seen in some areas—that this should be seen in all matters of Anash: "u'faratzta yamah vakeidmah v'tzafonah v'negba v'ad le'nachalah bli metzarim" (and you shall burst forth westward and eastward and northward and southward until an inheritance without boundaries).
