נעם לי להודע מהרבנית מרת רבקה תחי' העכט אשר נתאספו לתכלית האמורה וההחלטה לסדר מלוה מלכה ולהזמין אלי' נשי ישראל מחוג יותר רחב, ועל ידי זה להרחיב ולפרסם אגודתן וכן המטרות שלה.
ויהי רצון אשר חפץ ה' בידן יצליח להפיץ היהדות המסורה בחוגים ההולכים ומתרחבים, הפצה חדורה אור וחום חסידותי, שעל ידי זה גם תתרבה ההצלחה, והרי ידוע פתגם רבנו הזקן, מייסד תורת חסידות חב"ד, אשר שיטה זו אינה רק בשביל חוגים מסוימים בעמנו בני ישראל, כ"א שייכת היא לכל העם כולו.
אלא שככל ענין שבקדושה הסדר הוא צעד אחר צעד וכלשון הכתוב בהנוגע לגירוש הרע ונצחון הטוב, מעט מעט אגרשנו.
ויהי רצון שתעשינה כל הנ"ל בשמחה ובטוב לבב מתוך בריאות הנכונה של כל אחת מהן הן ובני ביתן שי'.

To the participants in the founding meeting and organization of the Nshei U'Bnos Chabad Association in New Haven—may G‑d be upon them and grant them life—blessing and peace!
It pleased me to hear from Rebbetzin Mrs. Rivkah Hecht that you gathered for this purpose and decided to arrange a Melaveh Malka and to invite to it Jewish women from a wider circle, thereby expanding and publicizing your association as well as its goals.
May it be G‑d's will that your efforts succeed in spreading authentic Judaism among ever-widening circles, a spreading permeated with the light and warmth of Chassidus. Through this, success will also increase. It is well known the saying of our master the Alter Rebbe, founder of Chabad Chassidus, that this approach is not only for certain groups among our people Israel but belongs to the entire nation. However, as with every matter of holiness, the order is step by step—as Scripture says regarding banishing evil and achieving victory for good: "Me'at me'at agarsheinu" (little by little I will drive them out).
May it be G‑d's will that all of the above be done with joy and gladness of heart, in good health for each one of you and your families.

Summary
