I hereby acknowledge receipt of your two letters as well as your telegram. May Hashem Yisbarech v'Yitaleh help that all the efforts of Bnei Yisrael in matters of strengthening Judaism and its dissemination—and centrally, to magnify and glorify Torah—be successful and without obstacles. May wisdom and knowledge increase from time to time.
Surely you are aware of the story of the Festival of Redemption of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, on Yud-Tes Kislev. In any case, enclosed here is a booklet for Yud-Tes Kislev that was written at the time by my father-in-law the Rebbe, even though for certain reasons he did not explicitly put his name on it.
