באשטעטיג די ערהאלטונג פון אייער בריף פון ב' כסלו, אין וועלכען איר שרייבט וועגען דעם מצב פון די שיעורים וועלכע ווערן געלערנט אין אייער בית המדרש, און אז דאס איז בחסדי השם יתברך, און אפשר וואלט דאס אויך א אנדערער געקענט טאן אזוי וכו'.
והנה בכלל, אלץ וואס א מענטש טוט איז דאס בחסדי השי"ת, אבער השי"ת זאגט אז מ'טוט אליין, גיט ער דענסטמאל הצלחה ברחמיו המרובים, און דעריבער ווערט דאס פאררעכענט אויפן חשבון פון דעם מענשן.
און וואס איר שרייבט, אז אפשר וואלט א אנדערער מער אויפגעטאן.
איז דער איינציגער רעזולטאט פון אזא מחשבה דארף זיין, אז וויבאלד א אנדערער קען אויפטאן מער, איז ער דאך. אויך פון בני אברהם יצחק ויעקב, דארף דאך ער אויך קענען, איז במילא דארפמען טאן מער און סוף סוף וועט אויך בא דעם זיין הצלחה.
און וואס איר שרייבט וועגען די שיעורים, אז פארלויפיג האט זיך ניט איינגעגעבען צו איינפירען זיי.
האף איך, אז איר זייט זיך ח"ו ניט מיאש פון דעם, און אויך להבא וועט איר זיך משתדל זיין פאר דעם, און מ'קען דאך ניט וויסען, ווען איז דער עת רצון למעלה און דער עת רצון למטה, און עס קען דאך זיין, אז עס זאל זיין באלד, און ניט השתדלות וועט זיכער קיין זאך ניט בריינגען און פון ניט השתדלות וועט קיין שיעור ניט ווערען.
און בפרט זיינען מסוגל צו דעם די טעג פון חדש כסלו, דער חדש הנסים והגאולה.
איך בין זיכער אז איר ווייסט די בעדייטונג פון י"ט כסלו, דאך בייגעלייגט איז דא א חוברת י"ט כסלו וועלכע איז זיינער צייט געשריבען געווארן דורך כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, פרשת חג הגאולה, און דער מוסר השכל פון דעם, און זיכער וועט איר דאס אויסניצען אויף א פאסענדען אופן.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 2nd of Kislev, in which you write about the situation of the shiurim being learned in your beis midrash, and that this is with the kindness of Hashem Yisborach, and perhaps someone else could have done it as well, etc.
In general, everything a person does is with the kindness of Hashem Yisborach. But Hashem says that when one acts on their own initiative, He then grants success with His abundant mercy, and therefore it is credited to the person’s account.
As for what you wrote—that perhaps another could have accomplished more—the only result such a thought should bring is that since another could achieve more and he too is from among the children of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, he should also be able to do so. Therefore one must do more oneself, and ultimately there will also be success for you.
Regarding what you wrote about the shiurim—that so far it has not worked out to establish them—I hope that you are not G‑d forbid despairing because of this. Also in the future you should continue to strive for this. After all, one can never know when is an auspicious time above or below; it could be very soon. Certainly no effort will bring nothing, and without effort no shiur will come about.
Especially suitable for this are these days of the month of Kislev—the month of miracles and redemption. I am sure you know the significance of Yud-Tes Kislev; nevertheless enclosed is a booklet on Yud-Tes Kislev which was written at its time by my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), Parshas Chag HaGeulah, along with its moral lesson. Surely you will make use of it in an appropriate way.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that persistence in one's mission brings success through G‑d's kindness but depends on personal effort. Even if progress seems slow or others might do better, one must not despair but continue striving—especially during auspicious times like Kislev.
