With satisfaction I read the report of your annual luncheon, which took place this past 19 Adar Sheini. I wish to express my thanks and blessing to all participants and especially to those who assisted in the success of this gathering, aimed at strengthening Judaism in all areas—especially among Jewish women, who are titled with the name akeres habayis (mainstay of the home), the primary founder and leader of the Jewish household—to bring happiness and joy for themselves, their husbands, and their children.

I also hope that this gathering, seeing its good results, will give you even more energy and effort to continue this holy work in ever-increasing measure—and thereby also receive blessings from Hashem Yisborach in ever-greater measure.

As we approach Pesach, this should also serve as a lesson especially for Jewish women: to recognize their great merit and at the same time their responsibility—to be like those of old about whom it was said: b'zchus nashim tzidkaniyos nigalu avoseinu miMitzrayim (In the merit of righteous women our ancestors were redeemed from Egypt)—and so too from today's exile through Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days.

Your contribution for Batei Sefer LeMelacha in Kfar Chabad has also been received (including that from Kinsman Branch). Surely Hashem's promise will be fulfilled—that the merit of tzedakah stands by everyone with their household for whatever is needed both materially and spiritually.
