און השם יתברך זאל העלפען אז נאך פילע יארען זאלט איר קענען טאן אין ענינים פון מצות, און אין א אלץ שטייגענדען אופן, וואס דאס איז דאך די אנווייזונג פון די חנוכה טעג, אז יעדער טאג דארפמען צוגעבען נאך ליכטיקייט.
ניט רעכענדיק זיך מיט דעם וואס עס טוט זיך אין גאס, וואס דאס איז אויך אפלערנונג פון חנוכה, אז מ'צינדט די ליכט דוקא משתשקע החמה, ובחוץ, ד.ה. ווען די זון איז שוין פארגאנגען און אין גאס איז שוין טונקעל.
און וואס נאך מער, אזוי ווי אין יענע ערשטע טעג פון דעם ערשטען מאל חנוכה - נס, האט מען געזעהן אז בדרך הטבע, קען די ליכטיקייט אנהאלטען ניט מער ווי איין טאג, וואס נאר אויף אזוי פיל איז געווען בוימל, איז אבער דורך דעם שטארקען בטחון פון די אידן דענסטמאל אין השם יתברך, האט די ליכטיקייט פון די ביסל בוימל אנגעהאלטען גאנצע אכט טעג, ביז מ'האט צוגעריכט נייע בוימל, אויף צו לייכטען ווייטער און ווייטער.
אזוי אויך אין אונזער צייט, דורך שטארקען זין אין אמונה און פעסטען בטחון בהשם יתברך וועלכער איז דער באשעפער פון דער וועלט און פירט אן מיט דער וועלט, קענען אידען אויפטאן אז עס זאל זיין ליכטיג בא זיי און ארום זיי, סיי בגשמיות און סיי ברוחניות, נאך מער און פיל מער וויפיל עס ווייזט דער חשבון על פי דרך הטבע.
און אזוי ווי דענסטמאל טאן דאס, געזונטערהייט און פרייליכערהייט.

Your contribution has been received for the campaign on the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev, the liberation day of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe, author of the Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, for the benefit of the Chabad neighborhood in our holy land — may it be built and established by our righteous Moshiach. May Hashem Yisbarach help that for many more years you will be able to act in matters of mitzvos, and always in an increasing manner. This is indeed the instruction from these days of Chanukah: that each day one must add more light.
This is regardless of what is happening outside — which is also a lesson from Chanukah: that we light specifically when the sun sets, outside; that is, when the sun has already gone down and it is already dark in the street.
And even more so — just as in those first days of the very first Chanukah miracle, it was seen that according to nature, the light could last no more than one day (as there was only enough oil for that), but through the strong trust of Jews then in Hashem Yisbarach, the light from that small amount of oil lasted a full eight days until new oil was prepared to continue lighting further and further.
So too in our time: through strong resolve in emunah (faith) and firm bitachon (trust) in Hashem Yisbarach — Who is Creator and Director of the world — Jews can accomplish that there will be light for them and around them both materially and spiritually, even more and far more than what seems possible according to natural calculation.
And just as then — do this with health and with joy.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that just as on Chanukah we increase light daily despite darkness outside, so too should we always add spiritual and material light through faith and trust in Hashem. Our efforts bring blessings beyond what seems naturally possible.
