היום קבלתי מכתבו קודם נסעי להציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, והזכרתי שמה כל אלה שכותב אודותם.
ויהי רצון כיון שנמצאים אנו בין חדש ניסן חדש הגאולה והנסים וחדש זיו, בו נולדו זיותני עולם, וידוע דברי האריז"ל, שהימים האלה כשהם נזכרים (ה"ה גם) ונעשים, הנה יתוסף בכל ענינים הפרטים והכללים בתכ"י חירות וגאולה להרבות זיו גם בעולם, זיו והארות מעבודת אבותינו וכמבואר בתניא שכל אבריהם ועשיותיהם רק לרצון העליון לבדו כל ימיהם - בחי' מרכבה.

Today I received your letter before my trip to the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil ben chayim mezakeh zichro yagen aleinu. I mentioned there all those you wrote about.
May it be G‑d's will that since we are now between the month of Nissan—the month of redemption and miracles—and the month of Ziv (Iyar), in which the luminaries of the world were born, and as is known from the words of the Arizal that these days when they are recalled (they are also) enacted, there is an increase in all matters both individual and general with true freedom and redemption—to increase radiance also in the world: radiance and illumination from the service of our forefathers. As explained in Tanya, all their limbs and actions were only for the Supreme Will all their days—a level called 'Merkavah' (chariot).

P.S. On a lighter note: regarding the name Rachel which you wrote was given without any special reason—it is brought down even for halachic ruling in Nigleh (see Noda B'Yehuda; Beit Shmuel sec. 126 subsec. 20) that Iyar is an acronym for Avraham Yitzchak Yaakov Rachel [Merkavah], and regarding freedom and redemption it is said about her: 'As in the days when you left Egypt I will show him wonders,' this will be through Rachel who weeps for her children—this has an effect, as it says: 'So says Hashem...and your children will return to their borders.'
