באשטעטיג די ערהאלטונג פון אייער בריף פון י"ט אלול ובעת רצון וועל איך מזכיר זיין אייך אויף דעם ציון הק' פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע צו מנוחת הנפש ומוח שליט על הלב וכו', און ווי רבנו הזקן שרייבט, אז מוח שליט על הלב איז דאס בטבעו ותולדתו, און בפרט ווי איך האב אייך געזאגט, ווען מיר האבען זיך געזעהן, אז איר האט לגמרי ניט וואס איבערצוטראכטען, ווארום די וועלט פירט הקב"ה וועלכער איז דער עצם הטוב און ער איז משגיח אויף יעדערען בהשגחה פרטית לטוב לפניו, און דעריבער איז א שאד די צייט צו דיסקוטירן אין דעם, צי עס איז אזוי, ווארום דאס איז אמת ברורה ומוחלטה, און ווערט אויך מערער ערקלערט אין תורתנו תורת חיים בכלל און נאך מער בהדגשה בתורת החסידות של הבעש"ט רבנו הזקן ותלמידיהם ותלמידי תלמידיהם.
איר האט געדארפט געפינען א מעגליכקייט צו לערנען תורה ברבים, און אין די טעג זיינען וויכטיג אויך צו לערנען די דינים פון ימי תשרי הבע"ל וכיו"ב, און זיין שש ושמח, ווי מיר זאגען אין דער תפלה אלע טאג, לפיכך אנחנו חייבים להודות וכו' אשרינו מה טוב חלקנו וכו' און בפרט אז מען געדיינקט נאך אויך די ענינים פון חסידות מיט דער אור וואס די רביים האבען אריינגעגעבען אין דעם, וכנ"ל מיין איך ניט אז איר זאל[ט] אריינטראכטען אין דעם, ווארעם דאס איז דאך א דבר הפשוט בתכלית נאר דער געדיינקען אליין וועגען דעם, איז גענוג אז איר זאלט אויפהערען דורכאויס צו זארגען, און זיין שמח ובטוח בבורא עולם ומנהיגו.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 19th of Elul. At an auspicious time I will mention you at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, for peace of mind and that the intellect should rule over the heart, etc. As our master the Alter Rebbe writes, that intellect rules over the heart is natural and inherent; especially as I told you when we met—that you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The world is run by Hakadosh Baruch Hu, Who is the essence of goodness and supervises everyone with individual Divine Providence for their good before Him. Therefore, it is a waste of time to discuss whether this is so or not, because this is an absolutely clear and definitive truth. It is also explained further in our Torah—the Torah of Life in general—and even more so emphasized in Chassidus as taught by the Baal Shem Tov, the Alter Rebbe, their students and their students’ students.
You should have found an opportunity to teach Torah publicly. In these days it is also important to study the laws pertaining to the upcoming days of Tishrei and similar topics, and to be joyful and happy—as we say every day in prayer: Lefichach Anachnu Chayavim L’hodos (“Therefore we are obligated to thank...”), Ashreinu Ma Tov Chelkeinu (“How fortunate are we...”). Especially when one also remembers matters of Chassidus with the light that our Rebbeim infused into them. As above, I do not think you should dwell on this matter—because it is a completely obvious thing; just remembering it alone is enough for you to stop worrying altogether and to be happy and confident in the Creator of the world and its Leader.
As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours: a blessing for being inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year materially and spiritually.
