עס האט מיך געפרייט צו ערהאלטען אייער בריף פון מוש"ק בה"ב, אין וועלכען איר שרייבט אז דורך הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ וכו' מוה"ר מאיר שי' בליזינסקי, האט איר זיך באקאנט מיט חסידות חב"ד, און האט אנגעהויבן צו לערנען תורת החסידות, און בעט צו פאררעכנען אייך צום קהל חסידי חב"ד:
עס האט מיר געפרייט דאס אלעס אויבען געזאגטע, און אויף דעם שטייט געשריבן אין די ספרים הקדושים, אז א איד וויל זיך פירן אין גוטען וועג אוף א אמת, העלפט עם השי"ת, ובפרט א ענין וועלכער איז פארבונדן מיט תורה וואס אויף דעם איז געזאגט געווארען יגעתי ומצאתי תאמין, און בפרט תורת החסידות, וואס אין אונזערע יעצטיקע צייטען פון דעם גלות כפול ומכופל זיינען זייער נויטיק ענינים וועלכע בריינגען צו אהבת השם ויראת ה' און צו עבדו את ה ' בשמחה, וואס די אלע זיינען די יסודות פון תורת החסידות.
איך האף אז לויט די אנווייזונג פון רז"ל וואס זיי האבען געזאגט אז מעלין בקדש כו' וכל המוסיף מוסיפין לו, וועט איר אויך מוסיף זיין אין די שיעורים פון תורה בכלל און בתורת החסידות בפרט, און וועט זעהן אויך צו באטייליגען זיך אין די חסידישע צוזאמענקונפטן סיי א צוזאמענקונפט פון לערנען און סיי א פארבריינגען פון חסידים וועלכע זאל פארשטארקן אהבת ישראל אהבת התורה ואהבת השי"ת, וואס דאס אלעס וועט אייך געבען א צוגאב חיות אין תורה עבודה וגמילות חסדים,
זיכער ווייסט איר וועגן די דריי שיעורים וועלכע מיין שווער כ"ק אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט מתקן געווען פאר אלע אידען, וואס דאס איז די שיעורים פון חומש תהילים ותניא אלע טאג, און האלט זיי אן.

I was pleased to receive your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh BaHab, in which you write that through Harav Hachassid v'chaver iy"a nu"n etc. Moreinu Harav Meir Blizinski, you became acquainted with Chabad Chassidus and have begun to study the teachings of Chassidus. You request to be counted among the community of Chabad chassidim.
All that you wrote above has pleased me. Regarding this, it is written in the holy books that when a Jew wishes to conduct himself on a good and true path, Hashem helps him—especially regarding a matter connected with Torah, about which it is said: "Yagati u'matzati ta'amin" (I have toiled and found; believe it). And especially the teachings of Chassidus, which in our current times of this doubled and redoubled exile are very necessary matters that bring about love of Hashem and awe of Hashem and serving Hashem with joy—all these are the foundations of the teachings of Chassidus.
I hope that according to the instruction of our Sages who said "ma'alin bakodesh... v'chol hamosef mosifin lo" (one ascends in holiness... whoever increases is given more), you will also increase your Torah study in general and especially in the study of Chassidus. You should also see to participate in chassidic gatherings—both gatherings for learning and farbrengens of chassidim—which will strengthen love for fellow Jews, love for Torah, and love for Hashem. All this will give you added vitality in Torah, service [of G‑d], and acts of kindness.
You surely know about the three daily study portions instituted by my father-in-law, my revered teacher and master the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden—these are the daily portions of Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya—and you should observe them.
