Your letter from the 21st of Iyar was received. Although in my opinion it would have been possible to enter into negotiations with Mr. Kol regarding the small support that was given to you—and even that as a loan in the sum of four thousand Israeli lira—it seems that now there is no practical difference since the amount has already been divided. However, at least for the future you will surely be vigilant to be informed in advance regarding your support so that it will be possible to approach them and receive appropriate assistance.

2) In this regard, once again I urge you to expedite the matter of the vocational school as much as possible. It is unfortunate that I do not have further information on this matter because Dr. Shapira—whose opinion apparently will be decisive—is currently in the United States and will return to France in about a week or two. While he is here it would have been possible to influence him if I had more information.

3) I was very happy that you at least partially reported about the trip to Meron on Lag BaOmer, and surely those who traveled will send detailed letters.
