דער יערליכער באנקעט וואס קומט היי-יאר פאר אין דער וואך צווישן שבת פרשת שלח און שבת פרשת קרח, האט זיכער א השגחה-פרטיות'דיקן שייכות צום אינהאלט פון די צווי סדרות.
די דאזיקע צווי סדרות דערציילען וועגען צווי שטורמישע און טראגישע איבערלעבונגען וואס אונזערע עלטערן האבן דורכגעמאכט אין מדבר אויף זייער וועג פון מצרים קיין ארץ ישראל: דער אויפשטאנד פון די מרגלים (די שלוחים וועמען משה רבינו האט געשיקט ארומצורייזן ארץ-ישראל און בריינגען א באריכט) און די מחלוקת פון קורח און זיין קרייז קעגן משה רבינו.
ווי האבען זיך די פרויען אויפגעפירט אין די דאזיקע קריטישע און גורל'דיקע מאמענטן פארן אידישן פאלק?
אונזערע חכמים, זכרונם לברכה, דערציילען, אז די פרויען, אין אלגעמיין, זיינען ניט צוגעשטאנען צו דער צערודערונג וואס געוויסע וואקלענדיקע מענער האבן דאן ארויסגערופן, פארקערט, זיי האבן ארויסגעוויזען גאר א גרויסע מאס בטחון אין דעם אויבערשטן, טריישאפט צו משה רבינו און צו דער תורה און ליבשאפט צום הייליקן לאנד.
דעריבער האבן זיי זוכה געווען אויפצושטעלן א נייעם דור אידישע קינדער, וועלכע זיינען געווען דורכגעדרונגען מיט בטחון און ליבשאפט צום אויבערשטן און צו דער תורה און מצוות, און זיי זיינען אריין און האבן גע'ירש'נט די הייליקע לאנד.
די גרונט-לערע דערפון איז קלאר. דאס ווייזט אויף ווי ווייט א אידישע פרוי און מאמע קען אויפטאן אין דער דערציאונג פון קינדער, אפילו אן דער מיטהילף פון מאן, און זעלבסטפארשטענדלעך נאך פיל מערער מיט זיין מיטהילף, און ווי ווייט א פרוי קען האבן א גוטע השפעה אויפן מאן און אויף דעם גאנצן שטעל פון דער היים, ביז צו ווערן געקרוינט מיט דעם טיטול "בויערינען פון דער אידישער היים" (חכמת נשים בנתה ביתה).
אויב אין אלע צייטן האט די אידישע פרוי פארנומען א העכסט וויכטיק ארט אין פורמען די אידישע היים און אידישן לעבן בכלל, איז דאס זיכער פיל מאל מער אזוי אין אונזערע צייטן און אומשטענדן. דעריבער האט דער רבי, דער שווער, כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זיע"א, געלעגט אזויפיל מי צו גרינדן, אויפהאלטן און אויסברייטערן די בית רבקה שולעס, וואו עס ווערן דערצויגען טייערע אידישע טעכטער על טהרת הקדש צו זיין אמת'ע בויערינס פון דער אידישער היים און צו פארזיכערן די צוקונפט פון אידישן פאלק. גרויס איז דער זכות פון יעדן איינעם און איינע וועלכער נעמען אן אנטייל אין דער ארבעט צו שטיצן און אויסברייטערן די בית רבקה שולעס און גרויס איז דער שכר געבענטש צו ווערן אין אלץ וואס מען נויטיגט זיך בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
To the activists and friends of the Beis Rivkah schools in general, and to the participants in the nineteenth annual banquet of the Beis Rivkah schools in particular—may Hashem be upon them for life—greetings and blessings!
This year's annual banquet, which takes place during the week between Shabbos Parshas Shelach and Shabbos Parshas Korach, surely has a Divinely ordained connection to the content of these two Torah portions.
These two portions recount two turbulent and tragic experiences our ancestors endured in the desert on their journey from Egypt to Eretz Yisrael: the uprising of the spies (the emissaries whom Moshe Rabbeinu sent to scout Eretz Yisrael and bring back a report) and Korach's rebellion with his group against Moshe Rabbeinu.
How did the women conduct themselves during these critical and fateful moments for the Jewish people? Our Sages, of blessed memory, tell us that the women generally did not succumb to the confusion that certain wavering men stirred up. On the contrary, they displayed great trust in Hashem, loyalty to Moshe Rabbeinu and to Torah, and love for the Holy Land.
Therefore, they merited to establish a new generation of Jewish children who were imbued with trust and love for Hashem and for Torah and mitzvos; they entered and inherited the Holy Land.
The fundamental lesson is clear. This shows how much a Jewish woman and mother can accomplish in raising children—even without her husband's help—and certainly even more so with his assistance. It also shows how much a woman can positively influence her husband and shape the entire atmosphere of her home, ultimately earning her the title "builders of the Jewish home" (Chochmas Nashim Bansah Beisah—"The wisdom of women builds her house").
If at all times Jewish women have held an extremely important role in shaping Jewish homes and life in general, this is certainly even more so in our times and circumstances.
This is why my father-in-law, my revered teacher and master—the Previous Rebbe—invested so much effort into founding, maintaining, and expanding Beis Rivkah schools. There precious Jewish daughters are educated al taharas hakodesh (in purity), to become true builders of Jewish homes and ensure the future of our people.
Great is the merit of every individual who participates in supporting and expanding Beis Rivkah schools; great is their reward—to be blessed with everything they need both materially and spiritually together.
